It seems that it truly only measures training load and nothing more. Riding for 10 minutes (if they are 10 one minute intervals) is way better for fitness, than riding for 90 minutes at 50% power. The 90 minute ride would give you a higher CTL though. I dunno, that's what I think. <BR/>Keep up the good work dude.
